Function

The bench

Write a function.

Plain arithmetic over four numbers. It is turned into a program right here, in this page — the same one the proof will be about and the same fingerprint the chain will keep.

What goes on chain

Steps used—
Its shape, as one number—
Fingerprint kept on chain—

Step by step, as the proof will run it

Proof, in this browser

Run it, prove it, check the proof — with no chain and no wallet.

These are the same files the contracts are tested against. The first proof downloads about 9 MB and takes a second or two; nothing you type leaves this page.

Later, if you want to

Publish the formula, later.

A private function can be published whenever its author wants: the chain recomputes the fingerprint from the formula you give it, and only records it as open if the two match. It cannot be undone.
